The School Support Staff Partnership CoVE has come through its first year with flying colours.
The Learning and Skills Council (LSC) review the performance of all CoVE´s at the end of their first year of operation against their development plan.
The School Support Partnership CoVE had exceeded its objectives during the first year of operation and was judged as excellent by the LSC review panel.
The panel had no hesitation in granting full CoVE status to the Partnership.
The focus of the CoVE´s work over the next months will be;
- To extend the pilots of Identifit the CoVE´s, Training Needs Analysis Tool (TNA) with Authorities throughout the country.
- To work with the Improvement and Development Agency (IDeA) and through use of the schools Skills for Life Toolkit raise the profile of this important area of development.
- To identify introductory training for IT that will support the work of support staff within schools.
- To share best practice with Authorities and schools to embed support staff training.
